    • Just been reading his Gifford Lectures, he would indeed have been a busy boy, as would have Hitch, miss them both very much.

      I fear that 2016 will be remembered as the year Carl Sagan’s prophecy was fulfilled to devastating effect.

    • Our wonderful world is a little less wonderful without Mr. Sagan. He is sorely missed. A true gift to humanity, a lighted candle, an extraordinary human being who help me see in the dark.

    • There are only a few ways I’ve found to welcome a new year in an uplifting way, and reading Sagan quotes would be on my short list.
